New Year

Each New Year I scribble down a list of about 50 'resolutions' in a notebook, none of which I stick to.
So this year I thought I'd spice it up a bit by blogging my resolutions - maybe this will make me more accountable? (Or maybe it's just a sneaky way of getting a start on #1, but more on that in a minute).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but resolutions are things in your life you either want to change or want to achieve throughout the next year. My list is limited to three (that's a good start... right?) and is a mixture of both changes and new achievements.
So here goes nothing...

#1. Start a blog (check ha ha) - and post an entry at least once a fortnight.

#2. Learn and practise yoga.

#3. Become accountable for my own happiness, rather than relying on others.

As well as planning for the year ahead, I think it's super important to look back at the past year and recognise what you've already achieved. 2014 was a busy year for me and a lot happened, maybe some of which I'll post about in the future, but for now here is a list of my major milestones and achievements of 2014.

- Turned 21!
- Volunteered weekly at a day centre for Dementia Patients
- Travelled to the US and Europe
- Graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology
- Accepted into Psychology Honours

I hope you've enjoyed reading my first ever post. I would love to hear your New Years Resolutions and 2014 Achievements in the comments!!

Lots of Love,
Lora xx
